Previously known as ShareThePoint’s annual SharePoint Conference, The Digital Workplace Conference was rebranded for 2015. Held at the end of August in Auckland, NZ, Day 1 focused heavily on small businesses. So of course Suite was there in a flash.
It was great to learn more about Office 365 and to see some of the recent and upcoming changes Microsoft has planned for the suite. There appears to be a big focus on data and how to get the most value out of your business information.
Some of our favourite presentations centered around the paperless office and what it takes to make the digital workplace a reality. Christian Buckley from Beezy and Sarah Heal from Information Leadership were particularly good.
Other key highlights included connecting with vendors and talking about SuiteBackups with visiting groups and companies. Our colourful spin-to-win wheel that Suite designer, Dana, handmade certainly drew lots of attention.
If you’re interested in learning more about what SharePoint and Office 365 can do, I recommend attending DWCNZ next year.
