- Grow the number and quality of implementation partners, and the number of customers we acquire via that channel
- Ensure these partners fit our implementation partner characteristics
- Increase our exposure and bring on more member firms of global and national alliances by utilizing business development strategies and technologies
- Ensure we are the first preference for our functionality with our existing and new integration partners, by leveraging existing networks and building new ones
- Be seen as a product/sales expert by our partners, who they can leverage to train their sales teams and demonstrate SuiteFiles to potential new c ustomers
- Launch and drive using our existing customers as a channel to non-accounting customers
- Understand the competitive landscape and provide intelligence to the wider revenue team.
- Strong experience in the partnerships area, in a business development role.
- Experience in SaaS, accounting tech and/or accounting .
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Experience working with the partner eco-system in the FinTech/SaaS space.
- Understanding of accounting practices (bonus for other professional services) and how they operate.
- A self-motivated team player, able to work with minimal supervision but also contribute to team tasks.
- Strong business development and sales skills
- An ability to prospect and “cold-call” potential partners
- Maintains clear and concise written and verbal communication, builds rapport, listens well, asks questions to clarify information.
